Why go organic?
Synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides have only been in widespread use since the 1940s. For centuries before, farming was done organically. Synthetics, while increasing yields in the short term, have a negative effect on our environment. Long term use can negatively affect soil and water supplies, and can also pose danger to animal and human life.
